Flashcards
Every definition, on spaced repetition. Say it out loud, flip, and grade yourself against the exact wording: definitions only earn marks when they're precise.
Diagram drill
Sketch the diagram on paper from memory: axes, curves, equilibrium, labels and any shading. Then flip and compare. Missing labels are where diagram marks usually go.
Term quiz
Read the definition and pick the term it defines. Wrong options come from the same unit, so you have to tell close terms apart.
Examples
The best real-world examples for Unit 3, each one a stock you trade by recalling it. Recall is graded and moves prices; Numbers and Pick the example are practice.

How each example is rated
| Criterion | Weight | What a 5 looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Relevance | 30% | Illustrates the syllabus concept directly, with no stretching needed. |
| Evaluation | 30% | Has clear winners and losers, short-run vs long-run effects, or contested evidence you can weigh up. |
| Data | 25% | Specific, checkable numbers: rates, values, percentage changes, dates. |
| Recency | 15% | 2025–26 scores 5, 2023–24 scores 4, 2020–22 scores 3, the 2010s score 2. |
S95–100 A88–94 B80–87 Cbelow 80
Recency counts for less than the rest because examiners still reward a strong older case. A classic that scores 5 on everything else still reaches tier A. These are our ratings, not examiner scores.
Drill
Spaced repetition. Say the story, the three numbers and the “but” out loud, then flip and grade yourself honestly. Containers you know come back less often.
Number recall
Each example's three key numbers, one at a time. Type the number that matches the description. Units don't matter, so “45” counts for “45%”, and answers within 1% are accepted.
Pick the example
In the exam you have to pick the right example fast. Each question names a concept; choose the case that illustrates it.
Write & check
Practise a Paper 1 (b)-style paragraph built on one example. The checker reads it for the parts examiners look for, then you place it in a markband yourself. Nothing leaves this page.
